Meet the team

Our team of instructors is dedicated to help every client feel stronger when they leave the studio. Every class is different, with each instructor putting their own unique flare on leading participants on a journey to strength and flexibility.

Rachel Walsh

Owner

Rachel started her pilates journey years ago, falling in love with the reformer and the transformation pilates had on her mind and body. After getting certified and teaching at multiple studios, she was inspired to open a studio of her own in downtown Wyandotte where she could share her love for pilates with others in the community. Her teaching style is very athletic, incorporating traditional pilates practices with advanced movements that will leave your core burning and your legs shaking.

Lindsay Weingartz

Lindsay is a certified Pilates instructor with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and extensive experience in rehabilitation. Her background allows her to blend a deep understanding of human movement with a compassionate approach to teaching. Lindsay believes in the power of Pilates to transform not just the body, but also the mind, fostering a holistic approach to fitness and wellness. Off the reformer, Lindsay enjoys self care, reading, and exploring new wellness trends. Join her classes to experience a supportive environment where you can achieve your personal goals and enhance your overall health.

Samantha Blackburn

Samantha has a background in dance and a passion for fitness and health. Pilates was introduced to her through dance as an excellent cross training to help balance flexibility with strength and stability. After dancing with Charleston Ballet Theatre and Ballet Austin, she decided Pilates would be a great career transition along with teaching dance. Samantha is a Level 2 STOTT PILATES Instructor receiving her Certifications in 2016 and 2022. She is eager to share her knowledge and expertise in the downriver community to help you feel strong and to reach your fitness goals!

Morgan Ulin

When Morgan started taking Pilates classes she was just looking for a different form of exercise to keep active. She soon fell in love and decided to enroll in instructor training at Equilibrium Studio. Pilates changed her life and has allowed her to look and feel her best, and wanted to share that experience in her teaching.

She is so excited to be on the Riforma team and can’t wait to sweat with you soon!

Mary Renko graduated from Wayne State University in May 2025, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Mary has studied under and performed in works by various artists, and also studied dance abroad in Tuscany, Italy, doing in-depth and explorative creative and movement research. Throughout undergrad, Mary was a member of Wayne State’s Pilates Mentorship Program under the mentorship of Hannah Andersen, where she was able to investigate, practice, and explore her Pilates teaching. Mary is very passionate about movement's strong ability to connect the mind and body and create interpersonal relationships within the studio community. Breath is a large focus in Mary's teaching, along with sparking joy through mindful Pilates flows.
